If you do a wikipedia search for "Jenny Haniver" you find out that these things do not just wash up on the beach this way. But usually, someone will shape them into the form of something interesting and then sell them. Apparently P.T. Barnum pulled a fast one in his day with a petrified Mermaid that was much the same as this little creature… I am not saying that it doesn't look cool. But Just remember, it's art not reality! |
