The problem with making money from mystery auctions on eBay is that you have to have a little something that is worth some money to sell. Ok, so that is not really true. You could take a poop, put it in a box, and sell it as a "super valuable" mystery auction…

If you are short on cash though, steal this guy's idea. He is going to send every person who purchases an item from his auction a number. Then at the end of the auction he will select one of the numbers at random and pay that person half the proceeds of the auction. He is selling 10,000 tickets at $2.50, so buy away! Maybe you will win $125,000 dollars. How is that for return on investment?

Don't you love how eBay is singlehandedly usurping the lottery by allowing people to offer their own lotteries? It's wonderful how many new and amazing functions eBay fulfills everyday!

    Dumb math! $2.50 times 10,000 is $25,000 so half is $12,500 – NOT $125,000!

eLottery! Wouldn’t it be hysterical if the lottery started suing?

Personally, I thought that there was some sort of law preventing this. Doesn’t it count as gambling?
