A traveling auction is where the item being sold has “traveled” across eBay. It is sort of like a modern version of an chain letter vis-à-vis eBay. What happens is someone sells something which they have signed. Then, you come along, buy it and sign it yourself. The idea is that as you add signatures, its value goes up! Its becoming quite the eBay phenomenon.

All the guys out there can sympathize with this guy. We all had sisters who had these annoying baby dolls that just would not shut up! Supersize Me is a pretty scary documentary. What is even more scary is that nLrebel is trying to repeat the French fry experiment. He is going to test to see what McDonald's French Fries look like after being left out for XXX days. The trick is that this is traveling. You are supposed to buy, photograph the fries at their current age, then re-list. Dunce thinks its a gross thing to bid on. I don't want month old fries! |

This is not just your average traveling auction…these shorts are amazingly huge. I don't know that I have ever seen shorts so big! Dunce would like to remind potential buyers that there are going to be other uses for these traveling shorts. They could be a tent, a tarp, blanket.. well you get the point! Lots of room for signatures for sure. |
